Introduction : 

Delhi is the capital of India and a major global metropolis city. It is also a critical hub for political, economic, and cultural activities.

Delhi has become more prone to cyber threats and attacks due to the growing digitization and integration of technology into many facets of everyday life.

In response to this threat, both the Delhi Police and the central government have introduced dedicated cyber security helplines. These helplines serve as crucial channels for victims of cybercrime to report incidents promptly to the appropriate authorities.

We undertook the effort to provide victims with access to all publicly available resources so they may report incidents to the appropriate authorities.

Where to Report Cybercrime In Delhi?

If you are a resident of Delhi and have fallen victim to cybercrime or have information about a cybercrime incident, you can report it to the Cyber Cell of Delhi Police. The Cyber Cell is responsible for investigating and combating cybercrime in the region.

You can also visit the nearest police station in your area and inform them about the cybercrime. They will guide you on the necessary steps to report and investigate the incident.

Remember to provide as much detail as possible while reporting, including the nature of the cybercrime, any relevant information, and your contact details. Always keep a record of the incident, such as screenshots, emails, or any other evidence, as it can be helpful for the authorities in their investigation.

Report Cyber Crime Online in Delhi

Delhi Police has an online platform for reporting cybercrimes. It is advisable to check the official Delhi Police website. You can also contact the Cyber Cell for the most accurate and current information.

In addition, provide a current phone number to the police so they can reach you in case they need to talk to you about the incident or if they need more information. Provide all the information and relevant details about the incident that can assist in the investigation.

Complaint at the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal.

National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal is an initiative by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, to provide a platform for citizens to report cybercrime incidents online. Visit the official website of the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal to register the complaint.

Fill out the online complaint form with accurate and detailed information. Include specifics about the nature of the cybercrime, the date and time of the incident, and any relevant details that can assist in the investigation. You can also attach supporting documents or evidence related to the cybercrime. Upload any relevant files, screenshots, and other proof to help understand the case.

You can also report the crime by calling the National Cyber Crime Helpline at 1930.
